haha. I've had some things breeze through and others sit for 2 weeks. I've even had the odd item arrive in less than 10 days. Whatever. I'm learning to plan better and have enough backups now that I always have something I can fly if I'm getting twitchy withdrawal symptoms. Worst case I grab the simulator.

I have an RA as well. Some of them never show up in Canada Post while others do. Now to place a parts order!

I have this same setup. I need to dampen the hold of the alligator clips or they cut through the wires etc. They're pretty strong! It's also a bit tippy - I'm thinking of gluing mine down to a piece of metal to give it a more solid base.

You can take a file to the teeth. I like to put heat shrink tube over each half. Then shrink them to confirm. Works much better imho without marring the piece it's holding.

Based on the pricing on that website (Alien vs. SP328), it looks like the RTF Alien will come in at around $50-60 US. Sounds good.

Nice idea! I'm going to try the heat shrink!

I agree. I didn't see anything going on in that video that enticed me to want to buy.

For a base I use heavy pliers slid over the base leg. Usually one facing each direction. Big, heavy z-bend pliers are good.

100% agree

I have some NE solo pro v2 ... very happy with it ... but once again Nine Eagle invented a new Tx-Rx not compatible with anything ... so ... if I could recycle my TX ... but in this way, now way ... and it really don't look to flight good

HI.
Take some silicon fuel tubing and push it over the jaws. Firm but soft.

Hi.
I have not read the whole thread so I don't know if it has been covered, but can anyone assist.

Does anyone know anything, good or bad, about http://www.banggood.com.

They seem to have a very nice product and shipping is free.
