Tri-Quad-Hexa-Octo-copters!!
M,
Interesting. Did you pay when you ordered? Or was it not a pre-order? For the pre-order they did not take payment but it shows up in your account as a preorder.
Cheers,
Jim

I did pay and PayPal sent the confirmation. Only after that I got email from BG asking if I could wait another week. So it might be coming soon.

There are few more pictures here.

It is made by Shenzhen High-Curious Industry, which seems to be making most of the non-branded flying stuff sold on BG.

Guys,

Could this LED strip use with my V949?
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

I know that 12V is the recommended voltage, but could run this with the 1S lipo? (I mean it wont be that bright, or it wont work at all with the 1S lipo?)

Many thanks,
Bulesz

No, not without hardware modifications.
The LED won't shine.

Thanks guys, I need something woroking with 1S lipo and green and red nav lights, strips would be preferred (I have standalone red LED and will buy a green as plan B...) Currently I have white headlights, those will be placed in the nose, and I plan to install strips to the front arms.

(I could buy a V949 light kit addon, but the solid lights are both red... )

Thanks again!

This may sound silly, but does the 80% rule still apply with these 1s batteries? Should I stop flying at 3.7 volts?

Yes it will prolong your battery life; I use a timer I picked up at a dollar store to time flights.

hmm..I've been killing my battery.

I ordered 5 new ones. So I'll play around with flight times to figure out when I only have 3.7 volts left. Can I got lower than 3.7 volts? or am I just pushing my luck

Lithium batteries are fully charged when each cell has a voltage of 4.2 volts. They are fully discharged when each cell has a voltage of 3.0 volts. It is important not to exceed both the high voltage of 4.2 volts and the low voltage of 3.0 volts. Exceeding these limits can harm the battery.
