I just re-find one of my old post: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...8&postcount=99

I was having a clear and correct vision ... 30$ for a microQuad with brushed motor is reality now ... especially if order from your shop

Can this protect the mini body from hard crashes?
This mod is not protecting the frame. It protects the blades from getting hit or stuck - And therefore protects the blades from breakages, and the motors and the board from getting toasted (When the blades are stuck, and the motors are still running, they consume high current which can damage the motor itself, or the FET Transistor that drives the motor).

It is nice and good protector, depends on its weight - if it is too heavy, it will cause the quad to be less stable and result with more crashes, but with less damage to blades, motors, FETs, and with more frame breakages.

Tri-Quad-Hexa-Octo-copters!!

New Mini and Micro Multirotor sub-forum to Multirotor forum

Gents,
Per RCG rules, please go to these links and reply with a "Yes" to post support to create a Mini and Micro Multirotor sub-forum:

Mini Mulitrotor sub-forum request: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1710983

Micro Multirotor sub-forum request: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1710986

At least 50 support posts are required for the sub-forums to be created. This will ultimately create better and more logical Heli and Multicopter forum and thread organization.

Please refer this post to the other mini and micro multicopter miss-placed threads.

Thanks and Cheers,
Jim

One question: most of the mini quads share almost the same components, most of them are between 30g and 32g, the MJX-X100 is 36.5g, it 20% more, what can make the difference?

On Hitec Japan website, the Nine Eagles Alien is 3-axis gyro and optional camera can be mounted separately with the camera connector but "Be released in September"

I had this and will say they do not give nearly as much light as in the pictures. If you look closely they are using two LED drivers so there is LED light coming from both ends. By the time it gets to the end there is little to NO light, especially if you have ANY bends in it about 15 degrees or so.

That's not good news. At least they aren't too expensive.

Ok, I've shopped some from DX. In my experience they are slower than Banggood. But everything I've bought from em have always been great.

My experience with DX is good. They always use Hong Kong Post, which is a lot faster (once shipped) than China Post favored by most other sellers, including Banggood. They are 'slow' in that it may take them several days to actually ship the item (they apparently do not stock everything sold on their site).
