If you have a devo 6/6s 8/8s or 10 than you could load the deviation software and fly many other protocols.

Sorry don't know of anything else on the market that will bind with the 7 or any of the other walkera radio's other than the ones mentioned using the custom deviation software. Someone else might chime in with something I don't know about though.

Tri-Quad-Hexa-Octo-copters!!
...and you must also hack a A7105 transceiver module into the DEVO Tx's to take advantage of the Deviation firmware that allows you to do, Flysky and Hubsan protocols. PhracturedBlue has put a nice how-to manual together for this: http://www.deviationtx.com/repositor...760/no_html,1/
Cheers,
Jim

Walkera makes it - if anything exceed just puts their name on it, but it still is 100% walkera ...

Hi there,

Anyone know how the Syma X1 motor and gear assembly works. I looked at the spare parts and online manual but it seems like there are no bearings on the gear shaft unlike the blade MQX and V929 have two bearings on each shaft. I wonder how it's going to handle the friction and runs smooth without bearings.

Thanks !

Can somebody spare me reading this whole thread Lol and tell me how to activate the "stunt" or manual mode on my Ladybird QR using a Spektrum DX8 radio?
I tried using the "gear" switch but it doesn't seem to be linked to the rx like it says in the directions.
Thanks.

Wait are you trying to link a real ladybird to a dx8 or a spektrumized version? The one with the spektrum compatible board?

Sorry forgot to clarify that mine is a 2.4 version that was bought new in the box without the radio (BNF?).
The fellow I bought it from said this version is not yet commonly available in the U.S. (2.4 but without the radio) but that was a couple months ago.
