Looks like a printed one. But I do quite like it!

People. I received my Hubsan X4 yesterday. Being new to these quads I wanted to reduce the sensitivity of the controls.
In the instruction manual it says. 'Hold elevator stick down for one second'. Then I should be able to reduce sensitivity using the trims. But when I do what it says. Nothing happens.
Am I doing it wrong?
Do I need to have the quad powered up as the TX flashes until I power up the quad and don't let me do anything?
Even when I power up the quad it still will not let me do the adjustments.
HELP before I bust the thing.

I have been reading those links. Very helpful.
I have encountered a problem. I have played with the trims etc, and now when I power up one of the motors is slow to start. I have to increase the throttle quite a bit to get it to go.
Before I do something disastrous, is this something to do with trimming?
Prop is on tight.

Don't have a UDI, I've got only FlySky and DSM/DSMX compatible birds, so range with an adequate TX is not a problem.
You may mod the TX with an 1,5W W-LAN Booster - good for a mile range and more. Highly illegal and not likely to be seen on any club....
You will not need any ranges beyond 50m with this little bird anyway - it's only a speck at this distance.

I have these on the way to see if they're any good:

They use the same controller.

They both look pretty promising. Keep us posted. Looking forward to your opinion on them.

I like the look of the H7S. It has a nice canopy design, sensible prop protectors, good motor protection on the feet, and LEDs on the front. Flight time could be better but maybe it will do better with the bigger/better batteries that Massive RC sells?

The scorpion has a nice canopy but dealing with the extra two blades and motors sounds like a maintenance hastle.

I have the Walkera QR Scorpion and my main gripe with it is the ridiculously short flight times. I get around 2 to 2 1/2 minutes maximum flight time no matter which battery I use. Looking forward to seeing what real life flight times you will get with the Benma Scorpion.

29 USD for a 3-axis gyro and 3-axis acc? seems to be a bargain.

Edit seems to be on the market for one and a half year - so I don't know how good the firmware is on this thing.
