Could I put in the gear from an airhogs jet set? Just a simple 2 channel setup....... it gets about ten minutes of flight.

Alright, im going to be ordering a MCPX tail rotor and the DF-380 this weekend...the day after they are released. Im going to be trying the Ember 2 motor. Dynamicfoamy, what do you use to mount the electronics and how do you mount the brick and motor to the plane?

Hot melt for the Rx and CA (foam safe) for the motor (two small drops)

I would avoid GG. Do you really want that yellow stuff on your white plane?

I like Beacon Foam Tac.

That's right, there is a white GG out now. The easiest it is just a dab of hot glue on either side though.

I've heard bad things about the white GG turning into the consistency of bubblegum in intense heat. I wouldn't put in on a plane.

Okay thanks guys. I think i will just try hot glue.

RCAddict16- actually, that is very true. I only use the gorilla glue to repair foam parts, but i once heated it up with a hot glue gun by accident (dont ask ) and it became like a bubblegum sort of texture.

It may be another month or two till I have funds but if the total for product and shipping is for arguments sake $55 I would have to say I'm out.

I have an idea for UK customers to get these kits, I'll look into it and send you a message.

Idont see why not, of course you would have to mount the motors on the wings like the airhogs jet, I would say that it would be of no use outside unless it is absolutely ZERO wind, I have 3 airhogs Xtwin 3ch plane that also have elevator and I only ever got one of them to fly in a large courtyard of a building complex that was very shielded from what little wind there was.

Its hard to find good rates for shipping outside the USA now a days. It costs us $13 +carton just to ship coast to coast in the USA.
