What an easy build! The airplane is built, painted and ready for decals and the test flight. I used the AS3X system out of a wrecked UMX Mig-15 and cut out some ailerons. The test glide in the living room went well. Now for the wind to quit to I can see how overpowered it is with the sub micro Turnigy motor out of a little Edge 540 and a 2S 180 mAh battery

I cant wait to fly it around the hangar when sitting alert!

Also, any thoughts on a 707 so I can make a KC-135? lol
Thanks to kc135boomer for the help on this one! Here are some pics of my finished model. I think this is one of the better looking airliners we have done.

I need the wind to quit so I can really open it up but the first test flights are nice and stable! I kept it cheap by using the RX/TX from a $20 Hobbyking Extra 300 and a motor from a wrecked e-flite micro heli

Hey guys. I have an ember 2 which I don't know if I want to rebuild, or put the electronics into this. Has anyone modded this to be able to use the ember 2 motor?

So I've got the Extra 300 and the extra 300 uses a N60 2S powered motor, are you using the motor from the plane or a normal pager motor of 3.7V what are you doing about the voltage difference?

He probably meant the Nine eagles Yak 54. It looks like 1S NE gear.

I would really like to see a Yak board up close, I realised the only difference between the boards of the SkyEagle and E300 are a blob of solder bridging the "SW" pads and the Aileron setvo connector, I bypassed the 5V regulator on one of them boards and was able to run the servos just fine on 1S but the motor would not fire, if I can find a way around this I could use a modded 2S board for one of these.
