Yeah kind of figured the little piece was for a wire loom but thought I would included it in the picture. I had one of the first run carbon fiber frames years ago. It had silver aluminum pieces so the blue was a surprise. I didnt remember having those extra pieces with that one. Like I say that was years ago and the older I get the more I forget. Ha ha.

I have a pretty extensive picture collection, there aren't any of those pieces in the builds, so either it was a mistake on the packer or they were meant for a different version. Just hold onto them in case something comes up later.

I would say anything worth knowing about the hang on rider bikes is in this forum. It's a treasure trove of information.

Made some functional stingers yesterday, it ended up being easier than I originally intended...Also a drop in for a direct steering conversion.

You will have to keep you eye on the non planar printing progress. It looks like it make the 3d printed parts look better.

They are just test pieces. It saves a lot of money to be able to work out all the problems before sending it off to Shapeways.

bare minimum, you'll want the metal oval washers, metal gear case, bearings and the delrin middle gear. After that, it just becomes preference and setup. Somethings, like the metal headstock isn't worth the expense, nor are the fancy things like the metal radiator or fenders. If you go on the Rcmchk page on FB you can learn a bit about the mods they do to make them run really well.

Also above a 5k brushless motor is probably more than the bike can handle.

The Venom tires can still be found. ZH racing tires, I believe are the racing standard. I dont know if the Hobbyking HK390 tires fit or not. They have their own rim setup, but maybe someone can chime in.
