Bad vibration is of course the first thing to resolve. If data reading is bad you can't go further to have a better performance.

I really like the layout and design aspect of the board Maybe a bit on the pricey side how much and how long is shipping to the US?

I suggest you choosing shipment by Laposte EU/US/ASIA. It's not trackable during the delivery but it asks a signature for the reception and you'll have a number to check if it arrives. The parcel arrives at US customs in 5 days and it cost no more than 7 euros. We declare as gift of low value for US clients so no problem at US customs.
