This is an awesome build, I wish I had seen the ideas of drag rudders actually being employed in this design before I finished the build of the mesa rc foam fighters b2.
My original design mash up I wanted to do was this b2 with the versa wing design of flite test. It may be in the future, but I just wanted to see how it flew in original configuration.
Now I know that drag rudders are possible I may have to add that component to my future plans

The drag rudders worked pretty well. Lower ones kept getting scrubbed on the runway and wiping out the little servo. My next one will have reduced weight and non scale wing wires to keep the drag rudders from dragging on landing.
Keep it light and it will fly fine. Mine was a bit heavy as I glassed it and had many coats of paint.

Next version will be with a true airfoil.

This should be very interesting to see what the differences between the KFm2 and a true airfoil are. Please keep us in the loop.

That was my first idea too, I have the Flite Test Versa Wing and was looking at is plan and was thinking about merging the two ideas together and adding drag rudders. It started to become over my head in skill level so I decided to try out the original design first. We'll see how that goes tomorrow

I will post here when I have something in the works.
Right now my RC hobby has been interrupted by a little ole CNC machine.
It is in process now that I have all the parts, bearings, rails, aluminum, nuts and bolts, electronics, power supply etc......Did I say nuts and bolts? Man this thing eats hardware for lunch...He He.
Should be able to make accurate ribs and formers when it flies!

Cheers, JR

B2 Bomber Canopy 3D Print.

My transition into 3D printing custom parts. My composite version is 30% lighter but cost 3 times more.

72 inch wingspan B2 KFM9 Bomber

My latest development KFM B2 bomber build . This time , I'm going to try out the KFM9 airfoil . I'm also going to use a lighter fiberglass canopy instead of the actual PLA 3D printed canopy . The 3D printed canopy is now being used as a mold plug . I posted the STL file for the canopy is on thingverse .

Very Nice.I'm heading to Thiniv next ;>}

Is your Bottom Fuse part the same as the Top part only scaled and no windows ?

I slapped together a 6' KFM wing a month or so ago.
Still flying great.

This could be the Follow on build for that wing

But my input started around here ...

I still have some Black Depron left over from the OLD DAYS.
That might just be the Ticket for the B2 !
