Nitro Converted TT fm1e...

I'd have to say that the gas bike is more fun than my TT electric bike,... but the electric bikes are easyer run!... (no oil,fuel,tunning,noise)... But the realistic sound and smell of a gas and you'll want one too!...

bikes

Hi folks, I have been into rc stuff for years and have rarely seen rc bikes, I did have the tyco rc electric trail bike, (with broken front forks now ). but i have one question about the bikes. How do they stay upright?, as I dont seem to see any form of gyro on them.
Where can I get 1 and how much do the nitro ones cost in £££'s please, i'm in scotland, lol.

How do they stay up, you ask? PRACTICE!

No, really the 1/5 and 1/8 bikes are very stable, as they get the gyroscopic effect from the turning wheels, just like a real bike. Where the practice comes in, is in getting them to go where and how fast you want them to. This part certainly takes practice with throttle control and learning to countersteer.

As far as getting a Nuova Faor or Thunder Tiger 1/5 bike in Scotland, try Formby's in the UK. Some of the euro guys can help, so try one of their several websites.

After two veeeeeeeeeeery long weeks, finally my bike arrived, along with a pair of GRP tires (50 shore, both)!

Now... where do I start...
Oh forget it.. I ll find my way!
Here are my very first pics...
Boy.. the bike is huge!
and its nowhere near as good as the Kyoshos! Where are the handlebars? and the footpegs? Ahhhh... not realistic!

Once you get it up and running and see how it good it handles, you'll forget all about the footpegs!

I have toyed with trying to make some pegs, but you'd need some serious rearsets to get back to where his feet are. ;D

Have fun!
