Cool
Seagull Turbo Raven nearly ready for maiden
.. Have had a few teething problems with the engine fit, but now over that now. Here are some photos of taxi test and engine test with cowl on .....
Cowl not a neat as I would have liked but okish. Such a nice looking plane, hopefully I can do justice to it. Hope to put smoke in it once used to flying envelop.... More on thread here of engine fit if interested https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...2#post22231263 24/7/2012 Maidened Many thanks to Tony S for taking her up. Way too much weight in the back. Started off with 220 gm, took 60 out. Probably will take another 60 out as well. Before flight CofG did seem about right 130 from LE though.. Lots of growling about how to start engine, upside down, right way up, open the throttle don't open the throttle...etc. Still successful outcome, back in one piece.. Some not particularly brilliant photos...... 26/7/2012 BI2 Broke in two....can rebuild but do not have the time. When do will put electric power in as TT61 just too heavy for the plane (and my piloting).... |
