Heat any brass up and let it cool naturally will soften it.
When bent heat it back up and quickly dip in water.
It will harden again.
Easy peezzzzy.
BTW I have some nice benders I picked up at the Toledo show if you want to barrow them. Dave.

Looking great SeaHorse. I ran mine today and actually managed to roll it. Fortunately, It was right in front of me in 1 foot of water. Glad I tested it in the shallow lake. I was able to do the high speed spins in both directions . The roll was done by really trying to get it to flip. All is dry and fine.

Thanks Capt D...sounds like you are having fun !, the boat is super lightweight, did you add any extra weight in your boat?

Little progress, but I'm moving forward. I have the upper and lower rudder supports in, next on to the motor mount

...progress continues at a slow pace. Access hole has been made and I have built a tray to hold all of the RC gear, the base of the tray is held by velcro. Seems to be a great setup for the boat, no worries about shifting equipment when swinging the boat around.

Working on a dashboard so i can install a on/off switch

Between the Trick & Treaters last night I was able to get some time running the boat in the tub. More run tests soon.

Been busy working on the airboat and had the chance to give her a test run the other night at the local YMCA. Not quite scale speed but will be trying out a different motor soon. Need to shift the battery back more to distribute the weight a little better. First time running the boat took at bit to get the hang of controlling

It was great fun.
I was treated to a few minutes at the helm and it is like a drift car on water.
Once you get the power up and CG set what a blast it will be. Dave.

Already taking notes and making a few changes for mine.
Keeping the weight centered and the CG slightly forward so the stern is a tad heavier helps.
Did you notice Sponge Bob was driving in the photos?
That Sponge Bob is a crazy driver. Dave.
