Must have been blocked at work. I see them now. Nice work!!! I finally got the steering done so we are almost ready for a sea trial. Used the basic rc airplane stuff but do have a reversing water cooled ESC coming this week. It should keep the heat down a bit better than the aircraft one but I might need to run a pump to get water through there. I also like the idea of some sort of reverse. Should be interesting to see what it does backing up...

Got the paint on the motor section and the pilot house.
Did my superglue welds to the proper areas.
Added exhaust pipes and all lighting to the cabin.
Skateboard grip tape for non-skid.

The entire boat is running on an 11.1 volt lipo. Love the way the side spreader lights look. Plan to have the running and spots on a separate channel.

I sorted out the motor and prop for mine.
I have a 6x4 Master Airscrew three blade prop. MAO640T
The motor is a Turnigy 2830-800 outrunner.
I pressed the motor shaft through the bell so I could mount the motor like a radial engine.
It is physically larger than your motor so I am not sure how it will look with the dummy motor.
It does run very smooth and the prop is quiet.
I had to open the prop hub to 5 MM in the drill press to fit the motor adapter.
Seahorse is using the same motor and prop.
I would post a photo but the iPad will not do it and my laptop in in repair.
Dave.

Did either of you two notice there is a crescent snapped cutout in the transome that the prop spins down into.
I bet it lowers the thrust angle down closer to the CG.
The higher the prop is the more it would want to push the bow down.
Just a theory on my part but mine will have the cutout.
Dave.

I thought about putting it in but went against it based on how I mounted the deck. You will also need to shorten or recess the cage too. Should look nice..
