Yep,you got it all right, good observation!

To further add on,The Video Rx was a helical antenna with 4turns, providing a 8.5gain, good enough to reach out 5-6km LOS I haven't push to my limits yet, was hoping to get 10km LOS and probably 5000m-6000m in altitude for my subsequent flights.Motor was a turningy 300watt class 1000kv spinning a 10x5 inch.

I use normal polystyrene to construct the aircraft,blue foam for the elevons because i'll need it to be stiffer,don't want it to break up at 3000m! 10mm thick carbonfibre rod that connects the both wings to the fuse. It also have navigation lights embedded in the wings so that i can have night flying too!

The previous 3000m flight ,i landed with very little juice left in my 6600mah 3s lipo. I'm attempting a 10000mah lipo flight next time.I read that the normal X8 could carry that amount of payload.

Btw, a little something about my country, from where i am (Singapore), the park you've seen is considered one of the biggest around.I envy all of you where you guys have abundance of lands stretching for hundreds of kilometers beyond the horizon.I watch the sunrises and sets behind buildings everyday. We have very limited land here (only 710 sq km) with population of 5.18million and growing,thats a population density of 7295people/sq km. Therefore most of our land is all built-up areas with tall buildings.But is common to see us fly rcplanes everyweek end here in these small little parks!

That was really cool flying through all those ruins, very nice. Looks like you also have a nice jello free setup too, nice clear video.

Impressive. You like to have poster frames of pretty girls in your videos Kept hoping I would see her in the video.
