Ian-

Good point. I have complete latitude on font sizes and colors (position, etc) do you think using colors would be better than just white on black?

Also, I could put other things on the video, like say a odometer...would that be interesting?

I'd probably take small and max legibility over colorful.

Man I miss Colorado. I was in Colorado Springs for 35 years then moved to Florida. You Colorado guys keep posting videos. I gotta say I don't miss the cold though. I've only had to wear long pants twice so far this winter.

High Definition OSD Test
Hi Mike,

When you get the bugs worked out, please share how you did this. Been looking how to do this for a while.. Agree with Daemon, the font could be a bit smaller though..

thanks,

Paul

The Springs are nice! Wow going from the mountains to a state where Disney's Space Mountain th the third tallest, what a difference. No shorts here lately Had some REALLY cold weather lately.

Great stuff Mike.
Agreed with Ian, clarity over color since this is done post recording. Hopefully these are simply lessons for the day we can stream live HD instead of SD.

I actually find it quite easy to 'look through' the OSD if I want to see the view and don't find it distracting at all. The HD of the OSD is fabulous though....

Paul-
I agree about mentally filtering it out.
I could even add a few things, like an odometer, wind direction/speed...or whatever somebody suggests...

thanks,
