Yep, first recorded flight, first full battery flown by ONLY using fpv (take off and landings also), really enjoying it. Thanks!

Nice flight! Well done. Clearly a sorted quad, and I like the tilt on the cam.

Thanks! Yeah, the landings, Im more into the fpv because it scratches my full scale flying itch. I have my pilots lisence, but cant afford to rent anymore, and this is pretty close other than I dont use my feet to steer.

MK Quad SAR

It's fun making FPV videos but a few weeks ago I was asked to help find a downed wing. I was able to find it on the first pass. It was out there for two weeks with no luck searching. He was glad to get it back. The multi is the perfect platform for this type of operation.

Got a couple new videos for you guys, went out to the field today after strapping my new gopro 3 silver edition (i would have bought the black, but they're not available here yet, turns out the silver is quite awesome on it's own).

First vid: buzzing around the field at low altitude on 720p 60fps. Keep in mind youtube will only show 30fps.

Bixler FPV flight with new gopro3 silver (3 min 5 sec)

sorry there is some audio clipping in here, my first time using final cut pro x.

If you want to truly see what 60fps looks like (since you don't have a gopro) you can use this following link to download the original 60fps file (link will be good for 1 month):

Here's the second video (today as well), i upped the settings on the gopro to max and went for altitude... was awesome! blows my old wing camera away. If you catch this link early youtube may have not finished processing the 1080p version.

Bixler FPV Flight with gopro 3 silver 1080p (3 min 16 sec)

Funny thing is, i taped the gopro to the plane with masking tape =)

That nice you have help other.
Our multirotors have many good applications

I've just shared the magic of FPV last week with some walkers.
It is also fun to share this hobby to the general public.

Yes it was, all the leaves gone off the trees. I'm glad the wing was white and not a camo scheme.

Very nice vid. Lots of questions when people show up. They must be amazed at the technology. I had my Quad down to the beach this summer for some lower level flying and to chase some seagulls. As soon as I took off, people came by and started to ask lots of questions. I have a 19" tv that I use and they could all watch. I just ended up flying pretty tame and showed them some things. I can't fly low, fast when talking as I was alone and no one to answer for me..

FPV - Ski Resort Flying

Hey Guys,
Here is another recent video from a local ski resort. The overview shots were from a launch point on the other side of the main road. Whereas, the closer ski/snowboarding shots were from another spot I hiked to from the back side.

Rick, you do the most long FPV vids, but somehow I always like them Don't know how you manage to get into so much adventures in one vid: Old guy talk about drone, chat with bikers, for get the main spar ! Just have to watch it !
