I don't know, I just built my first tri a couple weeks ago and it is now my favorite flyer! I love it's flying characteristics!

For a tri I've been thinking of getting a Hunter V-tail and replacing the back arms with a simple yaw setup that sits on top of the frame.

That was in the back of my head for a long time.
It could be done, only thing is to find a good way to have the Yaw mechanism

The yaws that I use are similar to this one.

Except I use a 3mm heli shaft and a couple of wheel collars for the pivot.

I'd like to make one with plastic blocks and a couple of bearings at each end. So I've been eyeing off my wifes kitchen chopping boards, they're different colors and thickness, a couple of different plastics. I wonder if she would notice a 50mm strip missing off one???
