Kadet Senior and spd 600 geared

I have a number of speed 600 motors that I would like to use on a Sig Kadet senior. I plan to build it as a twin so gearboxes will be necessary. Has anybody out there flown this setup? I would appreciate some gearbox battery combinations and any other advice for this ambitious project.

I'm flying a geared Speed 600 in my eBakerracer.. MA 3.5:1 box. 14x12 APC folder. 8x1400 Panasonics.
It has a lot of performance. Two of these should work well on a Senior Kadet. Allow for a long prop! The longer the better, I've been finding.

I been thinking the samething but I have two astroflight 05 cobalts that I want to use. The only thing stopping me is I built one about ten years ago. That is one very long project I think the last one took most of a winter. I built it with ailerons and it flew great, but the ailerons put to mush strain on the wing and the rubber bands came off. Stright down from 200 feet there was nothing left, wing came down in one piece just floated down. So make sure you bolt that wing down real well. But I bet it would make a great twin

Aw c'mon! I built my Senior in 1-1/2 weeks. Of course I WAS trying to get it finished in time for NEAT which I ended up not going to. Lots of 3AM building sessions

If it wasn't for rolls of Oracover on sale at Hobby Lobby for $4.95 I don't think I could have afforded to build the Senior. It took me about 3-1/2 rolls! But At least I saved money on the servos. I was finally able to use those big standard sized servos I had laying around. A Senior just shrugs off the extra weight.

As far as building a twin version, its been done. I think there's been just about every version of Senior you could think of built out there. Does ANYBODY build one stock?
