LOL - better do it soon, they are in low supply and selling fast.

I almost bought that motor from racie myself but I figured I'd be kind and let another RC brother enjoy it. I just figured it would be someone who already bought the airframe.

Why such short supply? I really want one but have to be responsible and sell some stuff first. I hate being responsible.

Brand new model - smart business people test demand before investing in inventory that may not sell.

No problem.

I saw the old ad and suggested to Racie that if it was still available , that he should let people here know. A win-win for all.

If I had come across it two days ago, it would have been mine. But, I already have one on the way. Hence, my unselfish random act of kindness.

I understand. I guess I just assumed they'd keep making them and people would keep buying them. If I can't buy first round I'll have to hope they bring them back for another.

The motor looks like it should be a good fit for the 48.8"

The first versions of the 1.2m RCF planes had some issues that caused them to be dropped by retailers. Hence, these new and improved v2.0 planes.

I think this one will be a hit and thus... plenty of demand to keep it in production.

On another note - I was just going to buy the plane and get the power combo later so my wifey would not protest for too long.

But, I manned up and everything is inbound now so I can complete it ASAP. Of course, wifey does not know any of this yet. I'll be paying the price late this week and early next week as the packages arrive.

Get Real, we do not have final weight of model constructed with out gear since we didn't measure this. We should have a more accurate AUW soon.

John, yes sizes were different than originally thought per prototypes etc, web site shows 48" wingspan. She pretty big almost 49"

Brad. No problem!! I’m happy to be involved in a cool project like this. I think this size of a plane will really fill a niche out there that people will appreciate. I have wondered, how big you could go with EPP and maintain the “stiffness” needed to allow for precise flying? RC Factory has seemed to overcome that concern or issue with their style of fuse bracing they used in the 32” and 39"size and now incorporated into the 48 size.

Brad (Twisted Hobbys) always finds a way to exceed your expectations. Usually with outstanding customer service and every now and then more product than you expected.

Just a couple of the reasons I have bought 4 planes from him in 6 months time.....

Ill be at that same amount shorty too. Hahaha.
The S-bach will be my fourth.

Do you think a 140oz motor will be too much?

140 oz motor is WAY too big.

Assume you meant 140 gram, but yes - way too big.

Motor range is 70-100 grams.

Lighter is better IMHO.

Twisted's 78g motor should be the perfect choice for monster 3D capability as well as provide reliability and longevity.
