Thread OP

If you could get just one plane?

If you could pick out 1 plane for x-mas what would you buy? I've been flying for about 6 months and have done fairly well. I would like to stay with the foamies for their ease of repair. so give me some ideas of your favorite combos.

Motor airframe and bats combos. Thanks!

Potensky Eagle (EPP foam), Razor MicroHeli V2, or Razor 400 motor, 3s1p LiPoly batteries.

Very tough, durable, 3D trainer. I'm having a ball with mine.

Now you're talking! I think they're up to around 240K now...I'd probably elect the single seat 540 however. Couple of them at the local field where we keep the Sukhoi. Won't 3D though

Hovering cobra, made of fan fold foam, not easy to get in az, i have 1 cobra left, just the cut pieces of foam. $20 shipped.

Razor400
gws C gearbox
APC 12x3.8 slo fly prop
Phoenix 25 esc
CBP 650 nimh 10 cell packs~ you can buy 4 packs for the price of 1 lipoly pack, and still get 2:1 thrust to weight and 10 minute flights.
Check out the foamies section for the hovering cobra.

I'd ask Santa for a Razor 350, GWS EPS gearbox with a D ratio, a couple spare 12-6 probs, an Etec 1200 or Thunder Power 3S1P battery, some 4 mm carbon tubes and a whole big stack of 6mm Depron.

Then I'd download all the cool free (or cheap) plans and I'd get building!
