Temp Sensor
I assume that you have looked at temp sensors already available and that they will not meet your needs?
I have the MT300 that comes with two temp probes. As I only fly electrics, I use one probe for my flight battery and the other probe for my ESC. The probes are a loop of wire with what appears to be a Thermistor. There is a sliding piece of nylon tubing to allow the probe to be placed around an object and snugged right up. I do not know if the MT300 probes can handle your CHTs, but they work great in my environment. The MT300 plugs into the EXT port on the rcvr or, in my case, as I also have an SM-Modelbau voltage/current/capacity/etc. sensor, I use the Expander module to plug the two telemetry modules into the single EXT port. The receiver recognizes them right away and the TX programming allows me to display, configure, set alarms, etc. Michael Quote:

I think 280F is on the high side of "normal", which I think is somewhere in the neighborhood of 135-140C. Soo...this should work. Thanks. |

Rats. I just read the manual for the MT300. It consistently refers to using the JETIBox for programming and monitoring.
I've been hoping to NOT have to spend another $160 for one of those things. Tell me all the functions available on the PROFI are available on the DC16. Or does one still need a PROFI even with a Ferrari in the garage? |
