This will help folks building their own Kadet and it can be used on any type of RGB LED controller. I found that most all of them work off the same controller.

Being able to change the light mode from my transmitter really made the Kadet practical

They are on a Turnigy RX controlled switch. I can turn them on/off.

I flew the Kadet for Aerospace Days at Lonesome Pine Airport in Wise VA. It was a blast. This video was captured by Stone Blue Airlines. The Kadet is pulling a 20 foot tail of LED strip that can be turned on/off.

I need a way to get solid 5.8ghz going. I have a micro 200mw transmitter on my mini cub. It only has a piece of wire for an antenna but I need a cloverleaf that can be soldered on directly to the board. I think a panel antenna on the receiver will be better too.

Didn't realize there were tools in here to convert IR LED control to tx based, will have to start digesting this some.
