Motor of Jetiger burns out?

Hello,

I've been watching the jetiger of hobbyking :
https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ehouse%5F.html

But there's a lot of people who's motor burned out.. Does someone have more experience with this motor?
A friend has the jetiger as well, and he's still flying with the stock motor so I don't know what to do..

greetz,
Jelle

People often try a 4 cell battery to get more speed, but the stock motor won't handle it. That is why the motors are burning out.

I upgraded mine and now fly it on 4 cells all the time, but the battery compartment isn't large, so short flights are the norm.

I'm going to use 2200 mah 3s lipo's.
I'm still beginner so I don't need more power i guess + I also use those lipo's for my heli and otherwise I've to buy new lipo's..

Thanks for the reaction,
And sorry for my bad english

Here is a setup up that works for the Jetiger

1800 mah lipo, stock motor, stock ESC, HK orange receiver with sat. This is my second Jetiger and the way I've seen them set up is what I did the first time around and it did not fly well at all. Check out the pic, I guarantee this will fly superbly.
