Thanks guys,
I was really, really happy with the 119. It just flew wonderfully.

Jeff,
The only other plane that flew was the A-1 Skyraider, documented in it's thread in Scratchbuilt Foamies forum. It flew great too.

We made Albuquerque tonight. We will split with the two Democrats that we are traveling with tomorrow evening. We go east, they go NE.

Hi J.
I have read all your threads and I think these latest planes you have built are the epitome of your skills. It just keeps getting better and better with each plane. Congrats on some terrific flights and a successful trip. It is nice to have Hans as your sidekick on your trip too. Can't beat a road trip with a good friend for company. Hello Hans!

Hans, thanks for the photos. Brings back memories for me of a couple of trips a long time ago. This is really a large country that we Americans call ours. And it varies so much from one end of it to the other. And we Americans forget sometimes that not everyone in this country lives in a place that is not the same as the place in it that we call 'home'. I hope that you truly enjoy your times amongst us and take happy memories back to Germany and hopefully tell your friends that we really are pretty good people.

Safe and sound in Yukon, OK. Nothing exciting, perfect weather. Going to drop in on Tinker AFB in the morning before we go our separate ways. Jeeze, this has been a great trip. Only 12months before we do it again.

Big Ass Gunship

Here you go John.

If you can get Alex to send me access to his FTP site I can send you the original vid that is super clear and shows more display area. Seems Youtube cropped the vid so makes the takeoff have missed parts and the resolution is horrid compared to the original.. Or just PM me your address and I can mail it to your home on DVD.

Also, a great pleasure meeting all of you guys. Will see you next year...
Cheers

That's great video! Thanks so much for taking it.
I sure enjoyed talking and relaxing with you at Vegas. I can't believe that iPhone takes video like that! I will get with Alex and let you two work the details out, I'm no help with all the video stuff. I just build airplanes.
You know, even though it is 109" ws, it still is 29 lbs with a 46 oz WL. But yet it flies like a much lightly loaded plane. Pretty amazing to me. I did expect it to fly. But this well? I never expected that.
I can't wait to finish her and get her all "dressed up".
