Thanks Hillbille, we'll try again today! You have done a great job on the pics!

Thanks too everyone for the kind comments. It looks absolutely awesome in the air. Sound of the twins helps too. Not sure what I was expecting but it flew better than I could have hoped. The 16x10 two bladed props with 6s on these 430KV motors is a perfect power system. Full power is never used except maybe on takeoff. The plane just simply flies beautifully which was the criteria needed in order to justify the finish that it deserves. So stay tuned, we all really going to deck this puppy out when I get home. And I am really looking forward to it.
Power system: It looks SO GOOD with the four bladed props that I will have to change to 5s or different KV motors in order to use them. But they HAVE to go on there, I want that look. We'll get it worked out.
Hopefully she is going back up today for another sortie too!
My son is here in Vegas on work and was out yesterday taking pics and video. Once he gets time to get it all processed we will have more! Stay tuned!!!

Sculptures that fly... a fabulous job. I've learned much from watching and trying my hand... on much smaller fare. I rejoice with you!

Today turned out to be the best weather day by far. Could not ask for more.
We got some flying in and were still having problems with the "gremlins". Things just kept happening to delay us or keep us from flying.
Yesterday we had our tents up and hadn't staked them down yet( I know, stupid and I know better). I was stretching the bungee out when all of a sudden a gust of wind came up and lifted three tents into the air. Naturally they came down on planes we had sitting in front. I had a little damage to the 119, it broke a small section near the front starboard window and pulled the screws out of the port cowl. Broke the canopy bulkhead too. Easily fixed to fly again.
So we took it up for another sortie. Flew great just as before and when Nut started "S" ing to bleed off speed as it approached the end of the runway, one turn wound up shearing off the starboard gear mount. Easily fixed and I should have made it stronger to start with but that meant it was done flying for this trip.
Good enough for me, we got two great flights in and I'm happy with that. We will pack her up safely tomorrow to start the trip home Monday morning.
There may be a video posted later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thanks guys,
It is a real pussycat to fly. Nut was really surprised at how well behaved it was. I thought it would fly good but did have my concerns naturally. My tech advisor was the only one that was sure it would fly great and he was right. Several guys wanted me to tape up the doors before the maiden, worried about turbulence in there but I said the real ones flew like that and so will this one. Now all I have to do is get it home in one piece and finish it.

It is a great shot of Woody. He and Craig complained to Hans that their handler in the witness protection system won't be too happy about him plastering their pictures all over the net and that they would have to relocate.
