One of the best rib eye steaks I ever had was for breakfast at Sam's town and I've been to the top of the line steak houses too. $5 at the time. Don't know why I just thought of this...

You may continue now

P.S. Our storms should be headed your way but they were scattered and light at least here.

I had a great ribeye last night at Sam's but it wasn't $5.

Those storms descended on us this morning. Rain all day on and off, storming right now. It is supposed to go away around noon tomorrow. We did get a maiden in on the A-1 today in between storms and it went great. Same motor as the 119 has. A-1 jumped off the runway and cruised at less than 1/2 throttle so I feel much better now about the 119 maiden, hopefully tomorrow after the weather system leaves us. Weather then should be perfect the rest of the weekend.

Pics of the 119 maiden are here!

This plane was made to fly and fly it did. The maiden went about 12:30pm Vegas time.
Takeoff roll was uneventful and she rotated and climbed out, no problem. Plenty of power with the 16x10 two bladed props on 6s-5000s.
Corsair Nut put her through her paces which consisted of pretty normal maneuvers. She only required ONE click of left trim and was trimmed out! Even at 29 lbs, she cruised at half throttle or less and had a whole lot left in the tank if needed. Camera passes were beautiful.
Landing gear worked flawlessly and the landing was picture perfect.
My friend has some 5s batteries that we could try with the four bladed props but I don't feel like changing anything this trip and will work on that at home.
Pictures were taken by Woody D with my friend Hans-Joachim's camera while Hans was filming video. Woody did a great job.
Another flight planned for tomorrow and we will get yet more pics and video.
We are planning another flight tomorrow and will have video soon.

Well I porked the pooch on getting the video. Got in too big of a hurry and just flat didn't get it going correctly. Got some good AUDIO though. Not worth posting that though. LOL!! (About the only damn thing I can laugh at right now. I am just sick that the video that I should have had was ruined by my rushing!! Hard to explain but it happened. I sure hope that the video Hans was shooting turned out good!!

I did manage to get some fairly good stills.
