Thanks Willsonman, Eddie, and Ed

There's always U-Haul. They'll have something that works. I just booked Hans and my room, they are still cheap in Vegas.

Thanks Ron, Woody

Hey Woody,
You have your rooms booked yet? I tried to go through my B Connected Sam's card and there were no rooms available. I almost freaked out. Went through regular reservations and got it booked. Whew. But no perks, I'll have to ask at the front desk on check-in where my perks are!

Got a lot of work going on here, info later.

The 199 lives!!!!! Well, at least ALL the control surfaces do. Just finished hooking up all the flaps, rudders, elevator, ailerons. Using a Spektrum AR 7010.
Pleased with all except the flaps, they don't have enough throw but this beast is going to be such floater it won't need them anyway.
Now I can move to sanding and finishing off the top of the nacelle/boom section.
Also doing some work to the fuse top, prepping it for 3/4 oz glass to clean up the middle seam.
It's all down hill from here. Yeah, right.

Look'n good there "J " you may have to sit down when click on the link . Well I am just out of room, I picked up the Ziroli Skyraider and then found a Yellow Phantom and will not have room to move when I get these built out. I love this Pony but somethings got to go. When the time comes I would love to come to Chaple Hill and take a class from the Dr. of Weathering or maybe do a step by step on the finishing process of the AC-119, just thought cause U Da Man....Don

It is absolutely amazing to watch your builds. I am relatively new to building and have only been on RCG since Jan but have learned so many things ( and want to try them all) I have definately jumped in with both feet! It is awesome how everyone on here is so willing to share and teach their techniques. What type of hinges do you prefer, or use mainly? I have used CA , nylon hinged and Robart pins on different builds and I am just curious what you prefer? Thanks, Greg

I will be driving up on Thursday morning (I have to take my Grandkids to school first at 08:30 a.m.) so I will arrive at the field about 11:00 a.m.

Your photographic skills have improved John - but I would still like to get a few shots of your skillful work anyway!! LOL!!

I will once again bring "The UGLIEST plane to fly" at the AIH and who knows I might get lucky again!! LOL!!

J, We've had our reservations for a while. Did that when we were discussing caravaning. Now trying to psych up for the drive.

I saw that you are selling that jewel. I know all about running out of room. It's getting really crowded here, I guess I need a garage sale. Please let me know when you start a thread on that Ziroli A-1.

Thanks Greg,
Glad you are gleaning something from this build, that's the idea. I like the KISS principle and follow it as often as possible. Therefore my hinge of choice is CA hinges. Simple easy, never had a failure except in a crash. Perish the thought, that's like saying shank in golf! But I'll go with CA every time I can. The 119 is full of CA hinges.

Looking forward to meeting up again hillblle!

Woody, I have two words for you....... "Bypass Joplin"
We'll get together on caravanning later, think you guys can make OK city before 6:00 am this year?
