I have a hurricane fan, it's 8blades and I was going to give it a try...does it sound better than the 5 blade fans...what's the efficiency like?
Also, there's someone in one of the conversion threads that go over 17lb of thrust static with the byron fan and a 700kv in runner \10s\ 3700 watts, that's some really good watts to thrust...should be over 20lbs of thrust at 5000 watts....I don't know too many fans doing that on a 12s cell count. Wish more planes would allow for byron fans |

Bob thanks for response, its 12s on neu packs 8300. time to call ejf and see if they have an adapter for this motor to byron fan, or can they make one! what is the inlet lip you are referring to by AirSally? and how can I get one?
