Search.
1. Fridge pump set ups for vac-bagging.
2. Mylar
3.cutting blue foam cores.
That will
give you plenty of nights of learning.

Hey Guy's, was out a schorncliffe and then woody point today. schorncliffe wasn't that great, but woody point was doing pretty good until my flying buddy broke my OD "halfpipe" knockoff.

Anyways got a couple of bee2's coming from ming next week and am looking for were to get some bi-di (or strapping tape) I see ming sells some 3" stuff. anywhere to get it locally? and laminating film?

Thanks

Gerard and I have flown at Shorncliffe for a while most days this last week. It's been NNE to N t so altho a bit off angle it's always flyable. Really hot weather so it's nice to stand on the lip in the sea breeze. I've very rarely hand caught a mouldy there before but yesterday the wind was just right, and I did 4 really easy floaty catches standing right on the lip in the main flying spot. There's a small tree right in the middle - makes it more of a challenge. Of course, when Gerard was filming with the iPhone I just missed the catch and it landed gently in the small tree and fell back onto the tail and cracked the boom again! Haha, quick CA fix.

Might be back there for a while this arvo.

Local sale (almost giveaway) - beat up Reaper, which flies and DSes like a gem.

Needs a bit of TLC and I can't be bothered. Never using my foamies because of having the Scratchos so I'm cleaning stuff out. This one is too good to tear apart and chuck in the trailer.

$50 RTF with 36mg Rx and Eneloops in the nose. It has a lost model alarm too.

I headed over for a fly at Shorncliffe this arvo and got a bit sidetracked checking out the amazing amount of mess following the stormy weather. Some big trees down and the beachfront road was still flooded in parts, and lots of debris, flotsam and mud. Sandbagged houses and flooded yards. The waves actually broke some big blocks of concrete off the top of the sea wall and pushed them back quite a way!

It would have been insanely good flying a few hours earlier when the wind was NE. Gerard and I had a great time, and it was exhilarating in 27 - 30 knots of wind but it was rather northerly off-angle.
