Build plans using E-Flight UMX Hyper Taxi parts

I made the mistake of buying a UMX Hyper Taxi. I made quick work out of completely destroying the airframe and do not want another one as I know it would suffer the same fate. I' m an average pilot (at best) and this contraption whipped me pretty hard.

I would like to salvage the Taxi and take as much advantage of the UMX, electronics, motor, servos etc.. as possible. Could anyone suggest a micro foamy w/ plans or any other fun, durable scratch build using these Hyper Taxi goods?

Plans, feedback or any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you into gliders? You could buy an ASK-21 Airframe and get another mini servo for the release, and sell the motor..... and if you have a Model Aviation subscription, I know there's a kit advertised in the april magazine called the Swift, it uses those components and they show how to make it in the magazine.

I really want a powered airplane. I'm more of a heli enthousiast which likely sparked my interest in the Taxi from the beginning. I impulse bought the thing thinking it was more of a VTOL machine than it turned out to be.

Just having a little trouble finding something interesting utilizing the 180 2500Kv motor. I would rather not attempt to scale down something larger as I want a proven platform. Need to be at about 65 grams (I think) flying weight to have a little monster.

fancy foam has some small foamies that the electronics would work in.
