Obviously my build was slightly out, She looks good in the air, but this is a poor quality video, and the sound you hear is the club generator.

Hello every body,

Thank you all for your encouragements.

The Slowly made his first flight yesterday.

Centering has been modified and some settings
It flies well and has a good performance in flight.
It remains to optimize some small details.
Happy to fly in Slowly.
Best regards.

Absolutely gorgeous Philippe! Congratulations on a beautifully flying Slowly. Looks like Jurgen's clone. Flies as well also.

Hi Philippe
That is a very nicely turned out Slowly, the lighting really sets it off, and flies like a dream.
Think I need to build another one that looks nicer, I fly mine outside and really give it stick.

This morning took it out for the first time since before Xmas and had it doing loops and just hanging on the prop, and various other strange manoeuvres, and of course doing what it does best just cruising around doing circuits at a very leisure-able pace.

Servo location

I am presently building a "Slowly".
I have all of the parts cut out and most sub-assemblies built.
I have 2 questions about the assembly.
1)- What diameter axle do you recommend?
2)-What is the "preferred" location of the rudder and elevator servos.
I am waiting on the motor and ESC to arrive before I close up the fuselage.
Thanks.

1) I used a 12" length of arrow shaft with 3mm hardened nails glued in the end. One thing I would suggest is to reinforce the area around the landing gear with sheet plastic from a credit card or ice cream container as I ripped mine apart with landing in a cow paddock.

2) for servo mounting I placed the rudder servo in the top of the tail boom just in front of the back of the cabin, and the elevator servo I placed on the back of the cabin wall.
Unfortunately I cannot show photo's as I do not have the plane any more, just the wing, But will be building another one for teacher youngsters to fly but also it is such a relaxing plane to fly.

I used a 3mm linkage tube and a 2mm carbonrod for the axle.
Another 3mm tube stiffens to the fuselage

I mounted the servos behind the wing, but to the inside of the fus.
