question about how to figure out amperage on a given setup.

i just need to know if i got this right.

to figure out your amperage on a given setup i must divide watts by voltage yes? im looking for a suitable esc.

2x 3300mah 30c 5s (10s)
tacon 160 with an 18x8 or18x10 apc (specs say 245kv 2700w)
"will an 80a HV esc work?"

i swear i once knew how to calculate all this on my first build. if anyone could figure out whether im okay with an 80a HV esc or i should get a 100a HV esc. i know i hit a real bump over this question. sorry mateys!

About 53A max. (by Drivecalc based on your voltage, kV and prop data) with 18x8 APC.

A 80A HV ESC should do nicely.

If you scroll down a bit on this Hobby Partz page, -

you will see what some users results are.

I find looking at the reviews from actual users on various suppliers websites is always a good way to check a motor out.
