Wind and rain have put an end to plans to get the dawg out for a photo shoot, time for a lock in to finish the bones.

Had to run out for more mixer for vodka and thought I'd post the tips so far.The out side edges are a layer of 1/16"ply followed by 3 of 1/8" balsa with some 1/4" sheet and some 1/8" sheet for the gussets.I figure this should hold up to most of my cross wind landings! With luck I should get the aileron bell cranks and push rods fitted and perhaps the ailerons and flaps built as well.Looks like the rear deck needs one more former to keep the covering from giveing the stringers the starved horse look.

Hey Rab, I've just warned Blink about the dangers of drinking and flying and here you are drinking and building tips! Must say they seem to be OK though.

The triumph is gone at last, fitted with new distributor bushings and overhauled carbs.NOW PERHAPS I CAN GET SOME REAL WORK DONE!Sorry had to whine a bit.On the plus side I have enough $s now to get covering and servos.

You're not whining- we all feel your pain! On the other hand, it must be pretty satisfying to keep classic cars alive
