Finally all done building her, and yes i did do some "First time" building mistakes nothing bad, Also on the servo mounts i mounted one to spread out from each other so i use some fishing line, glue and self engineering lol, now all i have to do is cover for my first time.... :/ Gonna use red ultracote, (not cub yellow) kinda do something different. But over all fun build and already found my next build

Planeflyyer,

Check your landing gear arrangement - the picture makes it look like the blind nuts are on the outside (bottom) of the landing gear block. They may need to be in the inside of the fuse.

Otherwise, she looks great.

Good luck with finishing the build; can't go wrong with a Four Star.

My first plane I've ever covered before.. Going along smoothly, Heat gun should be in any day now so everything looks nice and tight and flush Now all is left is the wing and fuse...

Finally got the wing done. Not as bad as i thought, pretty easy I'd say.

Planning on covering the fuse tomorrow. And as we all know things dont go as planned LOL. Using black ultracote on the fuse. Ordering the electronics tomorrow ASAP. Also give me an opinion on my covering job, its my first covering job ever i think it went "Okay" but as we all say you learn some thing new everyday..

Also I have a big winter project in mind with my buddy Ethan.. Look forward to the build log this winter..

Looks pretty good from here. Take your time and have fun with the build process. Don't worry about achieving 'perfection' - most of us never do.

Were the servo wires hard to thread through the spars?

I'm getting a surprise birthday present next week and have absolutely no idea what it is!

But the servos will all be on the inside, where suchlike belong, the battery hatch will be on the top and it will balance without much effort or dead weight

Now to come up with a really unique colour scheme for something that I know nothing about...

Which all brings to mind one question about the FS20.

How does it fly in knife edge? Any signs of the pitch down that the 4*40 exhibits in KE?

TIA

Dereck
