Here is the first print of the case.
Will have to change some minor dimensions problem in it, but other than that it fit very nicely.
Pictures with the board in will come..

@ richkphoto: not yet in the code. We're going another route: visual navigation.
That's why we don't bother with sonar stuff. But it requires complex math - which is in development by some of our genies.

@ Fred: looks like it's stuck on a pole when in PH. C'mon - you cheated!
Thanks for your output & input. If you only would upload your videos to Utube also.
So I could add them to the playlist:

@ Jesse: attach one of the upcoming brushless gimbals and you'll be able to get rock solid onboard videos with minimal efforts. Post stabilization obsolete.

Some complain about the AQ feeling like a truck or a train.
Well, this is what the AQ was meant for: cruising like an airship carrying video payload. But you still can fly the AQ pretty sportive to capture fast scenes.
Especially with smaller quads.

And some of the autonomous features help to get pictures you wouldn't be able to get when flying the craft manually. Not many would be able to fly exactly 200m northeast, then circle around the spot, keeping the camera on that spot.

@ Eric: great work as always! If I had a choice I'd take a set with with a dark red bottom shell and AQ text on the top part.
Can't wait to see the board in there!

I have a friend who successfuly dye the part.
From my point of view it is better to do such cause Shapeways do the same i think.
Had some people who buy in color and said the color was leaving when they scratch it..

Yes, Jussi still has some in stock. No ETA on the mass production yet.
http://viacopter.eu/shop/flight-cont...blic-beta/8-95

btw: Non-EU customers can substract 25% from the sales price so you'll end up at around 320USD since Jussi's company is registred for export.
