Personaly I would prefer a ME262 over a warthog, as far as twin EDFs go.

That would be cool! probably easier to balance than an A-10...any new micro EDF would be way cool...I have been thoroughly pleased with this little Mig! Just can't wait to get mine back (at HH for service because of faulty elevator servo...) I'm having withdrawals.

Roger,
Hope your Dad is doing better.
I second the earlier post about your Hyp 240's. They have been used and abused in my Gee Bee and keep coming back for more. Now that I know they will work in the Mig perhaps it is time to push the order button

Are folks using an adapter from std JST to JST PH or just soldering their own JST PH connector? I'm OK at soldering, but for micro work like this, I'd prefer an adapter since I'm not THAT good...
Long ago over in the Beast thread, we found you loose a little performance with an adapter. It's also a little heavier. But mostly it's a performance thing.

Got an 808 key chain cam this weekend and got a little video this a.m.. It was COLD out, so I'll blame the rough flying on cold thumbs!

[QUOTE=jpt1205;22951712]Folks have mentioned this a few times...do we know that another UMX EDF is in the works? Or are we assuming since this one is so cool, SURELY E-flite is working on another...? Any clues out there? UMX A-10 is my vote! a ground-breaking dual UMX EDF and a mighty cool jet it would be to boot! They've already done dual UM prop (Mosquito), why not a dual UMX EDF?

/QUOTE]

it will comes...soon ----the duct fan system runs perfect (in my mind) no problems with power-- Horizon have to build new planes for thisī!

I agree. There's already so many different sizes of Warthogs but very few
Schwalbe. Of course that AND a Gloster Meteor would make quite the pair,
and people could stage the dogfights that never happened.

While we think on those lines, why not a P-80 Shooting Star to complete the trio?

I thought that the vid was very good!!!...And what a picturesque backdrop!!!...I'm sure that the surrounding mountains are even more beautiful in the day time...And the fall colors have yet to arrive...Be sure to get a vid when the trees are in full color!!!

Thanks - not bad for my first vid with the hat cam. I was just glad that it was positioned okay. Clearly have to keep the Mig in a little closer!

That would be nice too, but there's already two companies mass producing
the T-33 varient, and the kit version is only $45, and for $20 more, you can add
a BH "AS2X" system to it.

No throttle, no altitude, minimal airspeed, and full up elevator. Works every time.
Sounds EXACTLY like my primary field, but I just pack a set of pliers and an extra
nosewheel(used the P-51 gear mod). The only reason I don't land in the grass
is because I'm afraid of FODing the fan, and since I usually fly early in the morning, getting it we from dew.
