Hoarding balsa is a sickness
I would have to guess that there is a good lookin' aircraft waiting for a sharp young man to enjoy the afternoon with. There is nothing better than watching your sons flying a plane that you built together....nothing.

6th battery on your first 3D plane and 4 months total flying.. I'd say you're progressing quite nicely. Thanks for the video.

Look at all the connectivity between those young brain cells, all working together. Us old guys have a hard time getting our brain cells to the dinner table at the same time.

So the air compressor I thought I could use is broken so I'm back to rattle cans for the moment. Has anyone used Rust-Oleum PaintPlus 2X on EPP? Not the rust preventer type. This one says it's for plastic and foam.

That's what I've been advised is best. I was just looking around and happened to notice the Rust-Oleum is cheaper and there are way more colors available than Fusion. Just curious.

Nice clean paint job!

That Rusto paint should be fine, even better that it says plastic & foam.
As with any rattle cans on EPP use very light coats and allow to tack dry between coats.
This prevents any seepage under your masking if used..

I have always used rustomlem on EPP and have never had an issue with it damaging the EPP.

It's here!

I received my all white Slicko yesterday and a sheet of foam. Picked up paint and construction paper for masking. Opened the box of foam, laid it out to flatten. Opened the Slicko box made sure everything was good and put the plane back in the box.

I have to wait a day or so because if I would've started, I would've been building on sheer excitement and let me tell you, that's how my last plane got built crooked as the letter S. I'm going to take my time, plan my paint scheme and build slowly.

So please help me out here...no messages of how great this plane flies until I'm done.

When you are ready, just go to post one and follow the process, you will be pleased at the results. As far as paint goes...less is more, as in more better...as in less weight. If the paint seems to just sit on the foam and not want to dry, just make a few light passes with a HAIR dryer, and it will flash off just fine.
I wish I could be flying today, but I am 42 inches in the ground replacing a drain line at a rental house.
