I will probably run 3s set ups in the carbon slicko version and 2s in the white kit version.

This is the power combo 2205 and 12amp esc on a 370 pack.. 440 will have longer flight time and slightly more punch when using similar c rated packs.

I have the RCPB power combo too. The instruction manual recommends the 8x4.3 prop. I will be flying with 2S Thunderpower 480's. I prefer the 9x4.7 on all my 32" TH fomaies. Will the RCPB motor work with either the 8x4.3 or 9x4.7 props?
I like the floatier feeling of the 9x4.7's!

It's a 1500kv motor, so it should be fine switching between the two setups.

Here's the RCPB link for the motor showing it is.

I had been running 3S w/8x4.3 prop all summer. Since the indoor season started I switched to 2S w/9X4.7 and WOW!! this thing floats like nobody's business! A guy came up to me Saturday asking about it. Said he didn't think 9mm EPP could float like that.

Sorry all, been assembling more Slicko kits. There are some on the site now..

There is a lot of demand for the Slicko right now.

I should have more painted this week.

go into your programming and set your low rates to approximately half of your high rates, how to do it is in the Dx6i manual

Also, I should have mentioned awhile ago, if you really want to learn how to fly in the simulator, you should never set your difficulty settings to anything other than realistic, I have never flown with anything else, except for changing the physics speed.
