I would choose a barrel back...

But from your selection, the Utility boat, or the 19' Racing boat.

I followed Patmat's advice and had a fairly successful 1st powerboat build.

Definitely the Triple Barrel-Back. It's the classiest looking of the bunch and very satisfying to build and run. This was ony my second attempt at model building and turned out very well.

I made the Triple Cockpit for my first RC boat build and I am happy with the way it turned out. There is nothing overly complicated with this kit - just take your time.

BTW, get PatMat's book as it is invaluable to the novice (and experienced) builder.

Hi to all
My prefered at Dumas store is the Chris Craft Triple cockpit barrel back.
She is wonderful to build, and on water she is very beautiful.

1230 Chris-Craft Runabout 36" Kit
i thought that the lines on this boat are great, but i dont see many of them made on here, but i look at it as, there wont be as much of them out there=(rare) or is it just a bad build and thats why nobody picks them up??..

Tommyov- The Dumas model of the 1930’s, 24’ runabout has been built by my self and a few others here on the forum. You are right, she is a good looking boat and she runs great also.
