i got a rio 51 and i am new to the boat world . i notice that my flex shaft has a lot of play in and out of the strut tube it appers to have all the trust washers 3 nylon and one steel in moves in and out about 1/4 inch . the collet is tight at motor i was not sure if the collet was soposeed to hold flex shaft or just hold the drive from spinnin ?? is that much play normale ? that boat is like new no run time . the prop and drive dog is tight also and in proper position

what mix do u run also i run 32-1 in my on road buggys but i read some were u run 16-1 inthe boat?

Oh boy. The Fuji is a real clunker, that's why they finally got smart and started putting a Zenoah in them. Expect the exhaust system to break off as it wasn't supported well. The driveline is a real piece of work as there have been many that break free at the propshaft. These things were almost being given away when the Rio 51Z came out, I could have bought a pile of them for $475.00 apiece.

wow lol well i have had good luck with off brand and clone stuff for on road stuff well u usualy only here about the bad one and not all the good ones i got a deal on mine so evin if motor junks up still ahead of the game . iwas just not sure on mix is should run ratio i mean

I run 8 oz. of oil per gallon of gas. Actually I've been using Coleman or Ozark Trails campstove fuel and Honda HP-2 oil. Yes, it's more expensive but no nasty gas smell, long shelf life, cleaner burning and no additives that'll ruin diaphragm gaskets.
I've known Mike "GrimRacer" Zaborowski for a decade now before he went to work for AquaCraft. Not until they dropped the Fuji and put in a Zen did he admit how bad it was.
