Hobbyking Phoenix 2000 Glider.... Dead

Well, i did crash my Phonenix 2000 for the last time now.

Phoenix 2000 crashes, onboard footage (4 min 57 sec)

Burned out the speed controller and everything just froze midair which made a nice spiral.

I hate when electronics do this, it's more fun if you pilot error the sucker and crash it.

Are you running everything stock? I have the same one....from Hobbyking.
The speed control gets really hot...i limit myself to 20 seconds of power and then glide....
I have upgraded it to a 40 and it stays cold.
Its just the stock setup is too much for the little 25AMP speed control.

It's a glider yet you fly it like it's a sport plane.
