You can buy some of these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...3A%5FUBEC.html

They work great and can be flashed with Simonk or wii-ESC (works better with motors that loose sync with Simonk). Best of all they are less than $9 and they have all the programming pads in a nice little row along one edge.

In stock now last time I checked.

Good luck,

RCTimer esc are also not a very good choice since they have no external oscillator and throttle range will drift with temperature.

@timecop,

What inexpensive esc would you reccomend that is not overly complicated to solder to?

What's going wrong with the plush's? I have found them to be pretty reliable.

im not sure, sometimes they will start and sometimes they dont, i have first noticed this while hooking straight up to my rx to do the thro calabration, seems like once they are warmed up everything is ok in flight but still makes me nervous. i would rather install them in something other than a frame that cost alot and carring my naza gps fc ya know. maby its the bullet conn, im fixing to take them off right now and solder them direct but in the mean time im going to look for 5-6 other that i can at least flash, these havethe silabs processor in them and are not flashable.

and to you tc,,,,,,stay away from all my threads and post, no one wants to hear you crap !!!!!

Dear crash8384,

Please take a look at the top of this thread:

If you disagree with my recommendation of the F-30A esc (which is also recommended by wingspinner just a few posts above), you're free to delete both his and my posts.

I am not "crap" in your threads, I was simply answering a question and informing the user.

its 3am here and i just came in from a great flight with the plushes, still dont like them as they are not as smooth as esc's with simonk firmware. what i did was take off the bullets and solder direct. anywhew she it working good just not great. it could be better but till my order comes in from china with a box full of 25 and 30 ampers per the above post these will have to do, thanks guys that i like on here
