To confirm:

1. S800 owners will get ESC's replaced with new ones. Don't bother with the esc mod if you don't want to. Just have the Esc changed out with new one.

2. Check your WKM MC and makes sure your M1 is not outputting low measurement.

3. Double check the prop mounting and make sure they are level.

4. I picked a great time to take a few days off for vacation.

5. Free OSD to all exisitng S800 customers for having to go thru this hassle.

6. its been a pain but rest assured DJI and its dealers/Dist. are working on getting this resolved and sorry for the inconvenience.

7. Existing S800 customers that have crashed contact your dealer for replacement.

Wait a second, the problem with the old MC (which is what i def. have) comes from the very
long wires from the MC to the ESCīs?
What if i want a similar setup in a custom frame?

Then, you have to make sure the ESC you are using is made for that first.

So having longer power leads on the esc can cause the FC's M1 to fail?
What about all WKm users that have the esc's under the motors?
What will DJI do for them?

Problem are not the power leads but the flat cable that drives the ESC. I guess it cannot be
longer as it comes with a standard ESC.

Longer motor leads and ESC leads have always present problem. That's why the leads are not as long as in S-800. The same apply to the ESC we use is not over the counter type. It is the combination of S-800 ESC and MC.

If WKM users have esc under the motor using original ESC wire length, I don't see a problem. What do you want DJI to do?

Anyone have any idea what the turnaround time is going to be like for just sending in ESC's in the US? Desoldering mine now and mailing them out but I need some sort of rough idea when I can expect them back so I can schedule work!

EDIT: Just got reply from dealer, Colin, that the turnaround will be a couple of days as long as he has them in stock, which he assures me he will.

Yes, we are expecting a shipment of new esc's within days and we can start doing the esc replacements ASAP and get them back to customers.

If this is the issue then it's not just and S-800 issue and all WKM users should check their correct?
