By reducing the time for switching does this mean that the timming of the motor would be lower?

Can we bypass those esc's and replace them with our own?

yes you are right 7 wire for removing esc then 12 unsoldering for resistor and the same for resolder lfor each arm so it's a total of 228 for the 6 arms !!!!!!!!!!!
more over you have to know that resistors are about 1 mm small !!!!!!
i think DJI are jocking when they ask customers to do it by themselves.
If you look close to solders you can see that they are square so it have been done
by robots ,we are not robots !!!!!
and it's not finish , if you fail to do it yourself then you can ship to them and they will do the mod on yours. they won't send the new version.

i think DJI is making fun of us and they are destroying their reputation

No. motor timing is something else all together. These resistors (or lack of in this case) would not affect that.

With the 900 mhz link it should work since it has two can bus ports !

Can someone confirm this.
I'm using it, no problem at all... S800 + wookong + data link 2,4. Zenmuse on the way.

Did it my self with an experienced friend (electonic guy) and BOOM!

I would advice you to return to DJI to be fix. After spending a few hours changing the resistances, it looked quiet well... When I turn it on, one engine didn't start and after a few seconds, something exploded.

DJI is now aware. Awaiting instructions.

This is why you probably should choose Option #3 out of the 3 options they suggested.

Agreed.

I don't want a random guy working at my dealer solder those tiny spots that was originally soldered by robots.

I want new ESC's. Thats the bottom line!

When your Zenmuse arrives you will find out that you have no free CanBUS port to connect it until you disconnect your 2.4 Ghz Data Link or either build a Y-Adapter on your own
