Seems like a bad rule - it punishes a high performing junior for other countries lack of participation. Perhaps it should be amended to include reaching a percentage of the top scoring senior or placing in the top 10 overall.

Just a thought. . .

Congratulations gentlemen! Great job! You made us all proud! All your hard work and dedication paid off.

It was fun watching "live". We were able to share a small portion of your adventure with you via video.

Like Sam, I feel it is a privilege to fly with you guys, just wish it was more often and I could do more to help out in support of you.

Hello everybody

Congratulation to Stefan, Lukas, and Martin for their podium. They deserve it !
A huge thanks to the organizers and Franz Demmler for this unforgettable F3F worlds ! I have not landed yet, my mind is still in Rügen with plenty of souvenirs and emotions.

It was good to meet Warren, Brandon and Kyler, and see again Kyle (Last time was in Spain, Asturias).

We had a "fight" during almost one week with USA team for the third place. After my last flight in the last round, I was pretty sure that we missed it. Final scoring decided differently.

Anyway, USA F3F team is very very strong and has talented pilots !

You will retrieve plenty of pictures, day by day at the following URL:

Thanks everyone for nice words! Still recovering from the travel home. Team USA saw third place slip away by one and a half points. Such a small margin makes us all look at ourselves and wish we could have flew a little better just a little little little little bit. Rats! With 50,000+ points that is crazy! That's one long turn, one start just a tiny bit better, one tiny small mistake. So I speak for us all when I say we are disappointed to have missed the podium. We wanted it bad and we each could have done something a tiny bit better........ Not a good feeling. (BTW.... The French Team Rocks! Watching them fly round after round was a joy! They beat us fair and square! Great job Team France!). :-)

How ever...... I can also say that we had a freeking great time and a ton of great memories! We all flew great and had a great time together as a team. I would go again with the same crew for sure.

Kyler was our rock star! 7th overall! Wow! For those of you that have never been present when they play The National Anthem is quite and emotional experience! Kyler made that happen for us and it was awesome! Thank you Kyler! Originally there were suppose to be 5 Junior pilots meaning the junior winner would be the official Junior World Champion. Tragically only 2 showed up. But we all know where Kyler stands and that for him to be 7th in the senior pilots is incredible! Very cool!

I want to thank everyone who helped us with there time, thoughts, encouragement and financially! Thank you so much! :-)

Stefan Holbfer deserved the win. He flew smart the entire comp. Congrats dude! Congrats Team Germany! Three awesome pilots!

Looking forward to see who wins the cool raffle prizes! Thank you Airtronics and Soaring USA!

Stay tuned for raffle details.........
