wind is from the west, so four corners would probably have better lift than ring mountain (closer to the coast)

Don't really need any specific wind on ring mtn, plus there's some concrete patches to land on for the p-47 and lots of room

ok. when you arrive, you'll see a little path at the end of the road. take your gear and go there. once you pass a fence/gate, turn right onto a dirt path. once you get a bit farther, you should see a big rock up on a ridge. it looks far, but its really not (it takes about 10 minutes to get up). unless you find a spot that you like, go up to the rock. the rock should be in front of you or to your right the whole time, and dont get confused with the rock that will eventually be on your left behind a fence. continue on the path up the hill once you pass the rock. if you do not see the path, walk around the rock until you do. once on the path, continue up the mountain until you see concrete.
