Note that on the HK facebook topic on their sales it says that items will/might change every 12 hours. So the KK2 board might not be there all week.

Just FYI.

cheers,
Andrew

FYI, from the HobbyKing website.

'Our Cyber Monday Sale generated far more interest than we anticipated, slowing the site to a crawl.

To make it up to you, we are offering many of our Cyber Monday deals all week!'

Start with a lot of patience!

Good luck!

I have never been able to get it to work for me. I have a new USBasp cable/loader coming in the mail. I use a PC but if you use a MAC i hear it's a piece of cake.

I suppose the directions are somewhere on page 1 of this thread.

Hello all I have a question hope someone can help with. Tried searching but can't find anything that helps. I have one of the first batches of the KK2 board from HobbyKing when I first set it up I had it flying pretty good for a few minutes and all the sudden it was unstable. The motor revs up and down so I figured I would shelf it for the time being so here we are today I ended up loading the new firmware 1.4 reset everything and started from scratch and still the same thing.Have new escs and motors also. I do notice when I do a sensor test I notice the gyro Z is going ok then not ok it keeps doing the same thing. I'm just wondering if this board is no good not sure what else to try. Thank's

I am going to have a computer savvy sibling visit over the holidays to help me upload either V1.4 or v1.5 on my V 1.2 KK2 boards and would like to know which version would be best specifically for improved auto-level mode.

I don't need any of the camera gimbal stuff and would prefer the version with best autolevel but I heard there may be bugs that need to be fixed in some versions and I don't want to download the wrong version since I spend enough time going backwards as it is Lol.

Thanks.

1.4 and 1.5 will perform the same. There are no bug fixes between the two firmwares. You'd be safe with 1.4

I will say this.

The 1.5 is a mod for camera work (gimbal output) only. It is exactly like 1.4 as far as flight controls go.

Now this comes from a guy that reads every word written here and has come to this conclusion.

I still however have never been able to "flash" a KK2 board. I fly 1.2.

I've just managed to get my x525 flying with v1.5

Had to setup all the ESCs again, and set timing to LOW, then I did a throttle calibration too. Now I finally got it to lift off
