Well I dont think my 13" props will be flexing. They are rather chunky. I may try some carbons but I'm unable to find any 13" 4.5. I could try 14"x4.7 but I might be pushing my motors a bit too hard. I also have some 12" but then I'm hovering at 80% throttle which sucks.

I'll try lowering the gains some more, maybe then some 14" carbon props.

The 13" that I use now are these, they are proper chunky and have no flex. I little heavy mind.

Another fascinating and fine looking multirotor from you... very nice!
The T-arm looks a bit short and stubby compared to the length of the tail-boom, was it a design choice or a happenstance from parts on hand?
I can't wait to see her powered-up and tasting air for the 1st times with the 3 servos twitching away.
I still want to build at least a traditional TRi to play with and join-in on the Fun.

@e_lm_70: At times I get the odd pkg superquick from HongKong, these CF props took only ~1week to get to Canada!
I agree with gandal and I'll not buy 8"+ colored props anymore, the Pro in my 8x4.5 "SlowFly Pro" props mean very little.
When you get 'em I hope you have as much "magic" as I have had with my Carbon Fiber props , I did also order a set of GemFan Carbon Mix and a set of APC Carbon Mix props too and hope they perform just as well when needed.

Then I saw it was COCO and thought,,, why not.
(I grabbed an old heli and started on a Duel Copter.)
Can't wait to see the test flight.

Yes, this is common to all multi-rotor aircraft. It's caused by descending into turbulent air created by the down-wash of the propellers.

It's normal.

You can descend at an angle or circle during decent.

Those are gemfans, and I would recommend the store to a friend. Who else ships for 5 bucks from Europe to the US?

pretty low sometimes too .i could easily reach them so i gotta be careful and watchful .

i see commercial craft pretty low too .lower than i think they should be but i have a bit of altitude here being half way up the hill going out of town .

all it takes is one time ,your quad(or plane ) gets sucked into a commercial craft engine and you down a plane .lives are lost ,they find you ,jail you ,fine you ,and now you gotta live out the rest of your days knowing your the reason many people lost their lives .
and thats the end of our hobby .

something to think about when you see these guys bragging about how high they went today .its only a matter of "when" it will happen .
So, will a quad be worse than a flock of birds in the engine(s)?
Then, what about a 1.5m wingspan plane?

Just thinking...
