Ahh yes the MEMS sensor would not be in the center of all axis.

As Homer Simpson would say "D'oh.."

Next time I'll think a little more before I write.

DaxFX, but still looking forward to seeing that video.

Max, Is your battery located on the middle plate or at the bottom of the Quad?

Bottom. She flies very well and stable. Only thing is that battery is height a couple of cm than arm's landing gears but it doesn't mind. I'd like to use it only for learning acro.
This is my second flight, just to "hand shaking" me and quad
Dji F450 KK2 1.5 some test (3 min 42 sec)

I also awaiting in mail three others fc's (i.e. Naze32, Acro Naze and CC3D) just to develop some others tri/quad to try other market killers.

im am using 3300 3600 and 4500 batteries, so they need to be on top, they don't fit in between plates.

Yeah you are right but a couple of things:

as you know medium/big helis (not Blade 130x for sure) or certain gyro brands have in their Gyro, a routine called "gyro compensation" (that automatically mixes aileron and elevator channels in cyclic system) that make pilot able to makes fast piro without (or almost) human intervention. That permits to install gyro unit in the heli's back. I don't know if KK2 has that routine :-D

I saw some video where kk2 quad makes fast piro and remains rock solid in altitude.

I'll try tomorrow to snap something about and post.

I don't try to install kk2 off center but I would, just to test if that rig has different behavior.

Wow looks great DaxFx.

I want to upgrade too...
I using 3s 3300 (13min) and 3s 3850 (16min) for now. I'd like to switch to 4s just to compare performance of Esc's (F30-A) w Simonk fw. I though that I switch props also form 10x4.5 to 8/9x 4.5 or Graup 9x5.

For not having the KK2 FC centered in your F450...it flew very well.

Thanks,

Nice! Was that with self level on or off?

Below is an old video of my V-Tail with the controller mounted off-center. This was with firmware version 1.2 and no SL. Enjoy...

For not having the KK2 FC centered in your F450...it flew very well. I might experiment with both locations since I'm not planning on mounting a camera. That will be for the F550..yet to be built.

Thanks,
